We are delighted to partner with a well-established manufacturing company based in Huddersfield, Yorkshire, to find a talented Interim Management Accountant. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with expertise in management accounts, budgets, and forecasts to contribute to a dynamic and fast-paced environment. As an integral part of their financial team, you will play a key role in ensuring robust financial management.

  • Prepare and analyse monthly management accounts, providing the narrative & key insights for the senior leadership team.
  • Monitor and manage budgets, ensuring adherence and identifying variances
  • Create and maintain financial forecasts to support strategic decision-making
  • Collaborate with operational teams to improve financial processes and reporting
  • Support in the preparation of statutory and management reports
  • Proven experience as a Management Accountant, ideally within the manufacturing or FMCG sector
  • Strong background in month end closure, budgets, forecasts, and financial analysis
  • Excellent understanding of manufacturing accounting processes and controls
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Good communication skills with the ability to explain financial data clearly
  • Ideally Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) but QBE also considered.
  • Proactive, adaptable, and capable of working efficiently under pressure
