Marketing Tutor

SCCU are expanding our delivery team and are seeking an experienced and passionate Apprenticeship Tutor to deliver high-quality training, coaching and assessment across the following apprenticeship standards:

• Multi-Channel Marketer – Level 3
• Marketing Executive – Level 4
• Marketing Manager – Level 6

This role is fully remote, with flexible working options and opportunities for both employed and freelance contracts.

About the Role

As a Marketing Apprenticeship Tutor, you will guide learners through their full apprenticeship journey—from induction through to End Point Assessment (EPA). You will deliver engaging virtual classroom sessions, provide 1-to-1 coaching, and ensure every apprentice receives exceptional support to achieve success.

You will play a key part in maintaining high-quality teaching and compliance standards, working closely with employers, IQA teams, EPAOs and internal delivery staff.

Key Responsibilities

Teaching, Coaching & Assessment

• Deliver high-quality teaching, learning and assessment across marketing apprenticeships (Levels 3–6).
• Provide personalised 1-to-1 coaching, progress reviews and clear development targets.
• Conduct observations, professional discussions and KSB-focused assessments.
• Prepare apprentices for Gateway and EPA, ensuring all evidence meets EPAO requirements.

Quality & Compliance

• Maintain accurate learner records within OneFile or similar systems.
• Mark and return work within agreed KPIs and provide meaningful developmental feedback.
• Complete monthly In-Learning Visit (ILV) forms and 10-week reviews in line with audit and funding expectations.
• Work collaboratively with IQA colleagues to uphold high assessment standards.
• Ensure full adherence to Ofsted EIF expectations and DfE funding rules.

Learner & Employer Engagement

• Build strong employer relationships and ensure they understand their apprenticeship responsibilities.
• Provide pastoral support and address learner concerns promptly.
• Support learners with career progression planning and next steps.
• Conduct employer/learner 10-week review meetings and support visits as required.

Professional Practice

• Stay current with apprenticeship funding rules, EPA updates and sector developments.
• Participate in CPD, standardisation and quality improvement activities.
• Contribute to curriculum and resource development.

Qualifications & Experience

Essential:

• Strong occupational experience in Marketing and/or Management roles.

• Proven experience delivering:

• Multi-Channel Marketer (L3)

• Marketing Executive (L4)
• Marketing Manager (L6)
• Track record of guiding apprentices to successful EPA outcomes.
• Teaching qualification (AET/PTLLS or above).
• Assessor qualification (CAVA or equivalent).
• Strong grasp of apprenticeship standards, KSBs, OTJ requirements and EPA processes.
• Experience using e-portfolio systems and virtual delivery tools.

Desirable:

• Experience of Ofsted inspections within apprenticeship provision.
• Coaching or mentoring qualifications.

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong curriculum knowledge across marketing and management disciplines.
• Understanding of safeguarding, Prevent and learner welfare responsibilities.
• Excellent communication, organisational and IT skills.
• Ability to motivate learners and support continuous improvement.
• Efficient, proactive and able to manage deadlines and change confidently.

Performance Expectations

• Maintain expected learner progress KPIs.
• Complete monthly visit forms and 10-week reviews on time.
• Ensure full compliance with DfE funding rules and audit requirements.
• Achieve strong EPA outcomes and high levels of learner and employer satisfaction.
• Deliver consistently high-quality teaching aligned to internal and external standards.
