We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our culinary team in the role of Breakfast Chef/CDP. Live-in is available for the right person.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with food preparation, including chopping, mixing, and assembling ingredients
  • Cook and prepare meals according to specified recipes and quality standards
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety regulations
  • Support with plating and presentation of dishes for service
  • Ensure all food handling procedures comply with health and safety standards
  • Assist with stock rotation, inventory checks, and restocking supplies as needed
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and efficient meal service
  • Follow instructions from senior kitchen staff to ensure consistency and quality

Skills

  • Experience in food preparation or cooking within a professional setting is preferred, but a good attitude and willingness to learn is the most important need
  • Knowledge of food safety practices and hygiene standards
  • Basic culinary skills such as chopping, mixing, and basic cooking techniques
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Good organisational skills with attention to detail
  • Excellent teamwork and communication abilities
  • Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to different kitchen routines
