The Role
We are now looking for a Head of Total Reward who will be responsible for establishing, developing and implementing the global reward strategy and programs to ensure we are a competitive and attractive employer. We want you to help us build strategies and policies for our 4000+ employees that are clearly linked to and drive the long term success of Arrive .
You will be part of a larger global People & Culture team where you report to the Head of People Platform. You will work in close collaboration with senior business leaders as well as the Management Team. This role will operate in a global matrix structure across 15+ countries within Europe and the USA.
You will contribute & make an impact through:
- Establishing, developing and implementing the global reward strategy and programmes to ensure we are a competitive and attractive employer
- The management, evaluation and design of long term employee incentive programs (virtual shares/stock options) in collaboration with external parties
- Continuously review and evaluate the effectiveness of current compensation and benefits strategies and programmes
- Oversee insurance and pension programmes through research, analysis and evaluation across 20 + countries which includes: the USA and Europe
- Support the People & Culture function with job evaluation and design and manage fair pay ranges
- Ensure an effective base salary strategy and variable pay schemes/sales commission schemes are implemented globally.
- Lead the management of payroll/payroll agencies globally
- Support the management of the annual salary review process globally
- Design effective employee communication around compensation and benefits/total rewards
- Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements within own area of responsibility
- Contribute to team OGSPs (Objectives, Goals, Strategy and Plan) to ensure initiatives, processes, and programs are achieved
- Stay up to date with trends and best practices within the field
- Other duties, tasks, and responsibilities may be assigned at any time
- Oversee global mobility activity within the company including: visa and secondment management
About you and your background
We don't think one size fits all, but a successful candidate will likely have the following experience/skills::
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in compensation and benefits in a global environment
- Experience in identifying, designing and implementing LTIP (Long Term Incentive Programmes) programmes
- Very strong numeracy skills
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment with an agile mindset
- Strong knowledge of European principles related to compensation and benefits
- Ability to understand the specific needs of a global organization
- Strong leadership and project management skills
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to present to senior leaders/board members outlining trends, costings etc within own area of responsibility
- Ability to work with a degree of ambiguity
- Strong proficiency in English
