Product Manager

Clinical Partners, a leading mental health services provider, is seeking an experienced Product Owner to lead the development and continuous improvement of digital healthcare products, specifically focusing on the Salesforce platform and related healthcare solutions.

The Product Owner will act as a bridge between stakeholders and the development team, ensuring that product features align with business goals, enhance patient care, and meet regulatory and operational requirements.

The ideal candidate will have a background in healthcare technology, product management, and experience with Salesforce or similar platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to and communicate the product vision, ensuring alignment with Clinical Partners' strategic goals. Work closely with leadership and stakeholders to prioritise features that enhance patient care and streamline operational processes.
  • Develop, prioritise, and manage the product roadmap and backlog, ensuring we deliver our objectives, meet business needs, regulatory requirements, and technical dependencies. Regularly refine user stories and epics in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Act as the primary liaison between clinical, operational, IT, and development teams, ensuring that all parties are aligned on product goals and timelines. Gather feedback from clinicians, patients, and business leaders to inform product improvements.
  • Lead sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives in an Agile environment. Ensure that development teams have a clear understanding of priorities, objectives, and success metrics for each sprint.
  • Collaborate with development and testers to define feature specifications, acceptance criteria, and ensure thorough testing of new features and integrations before deployment.
  • Ensure that all product developments meet industry standards for security and compliance, particularly in healthcare (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR), safeguarding patient data and maintaining system integrity.
  • Contribute to the product roadmap, balancing short-term deliverables with long-term strategic goals. Coordinate product releases, ensuring timely and quality deployments in collaboration with developers, testers, and operations teams.
  • Leverage data and user insights to guide product enhancements. Track key performance metrics, user feedback, and market trends to continuously improve product offerings.
  • Create and maintain product documentation, training materials, and conduct training sessions for internal teams to ensure effective product adoption and usage.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master's preferred).
  • Significant experience in product management or as a product owner, with a focus on software development, ideally within the healthcare sector.
  • Proven experience working in Agile environments, managing digital healthcare products or platforms such as Salesforce.
  • Experience with healthcare-related software (e.g., Health Cloud, EHR systems) is a significant advantage.
  • Strong ability to adapt to different platform capabilities, workflows, and customisation.
  • Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements and effectively communicate them to development teams.
  • Familiarity with product management tools like Jira, Confluence, or similar systems for backlog and project tracking.
  • Strong leadership and decision-making abilities with a collaborative approach.
