About the Role
We're looking for an IoT & Digital Engineering Sales Consultant to drive consulting-led sales and solution development across targeted industry verticals. This is a strategic, client-facing role focused on developing and executing go-to-market plans, building strong relationships with C-level stakeholders, and delivering value-driven digital transformation solutions across
Connected Plant and Industry 4.0
.
You'll work closely with internal teams — including engineering, delivery, and innovation units — to design and present integrated IoT and Digital Engineering solutions that address complex business challenges and enable clients to achieve measurable outcomes.
Key Skills & Experience
- Significant experience in Consulting Sales, Pre-sales, and Solutioning for Digital Engineering and Manufacturing Operations, as well as Smart Manufacturing—covering Industry 4.0, IIoT technologies, solutions, and services across Discrete and Process industries.
- Proven ability to position solutions, shape large deals, cross-sell and up-sell to both new and existing customers, consistently generate and convert pipeline opportunities, and demonstrate thought leadership in the sector.
- Deep understanding of IoT, IIoT, Digital Twins, Smart Manufacturing, Connected Operations, and Digital Engineering concepts.
- Strong grasp of Manufacturing Operations Management (MOM), IT-OT convergence, Edge-to-Cloud technologies, and Connected Digital Enterprises.
- Strong experience engaging with CXO and Director-level executives across IT and Business functions within large enterprise clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead consulting-led sales and pre-sales activities across assigned verticals.
- Develop and deliver strategic growth plans, aligning with client objectives and market trends.
- Collaborate with solution architects and delivery teams to design compelling digital transformation propositions.
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with CXO-level stakeholders, understanding their strategic priorities and challenges.
- Identify new opportunities within existing and new accounts to drive revenue growth and client engagement.
- Represent the organisation at industry events, conferences, and client workshops, demonstrating thought leadership in IoT and Industry 4.0.
Location: London
Salary: £110,000 – £120,000 Basic + £10,000 Bonus
Working Model: Hybrid
