Location: Hybrid – Site & Office based

OTE- £70k

The Role

We're looking for a Site Manager to lead hydro generator projects, overseeing site operations, budgets, and milestones while ensuring safety, quality, and excellent customer service. You'll work closely with the project team and act as the main client and contractor contact.

Responsibilities

  • Manage hydro site operations and workforce performance
  • Ensure compliance with engineering plans, safety regulations, and quality standards
  • Coordinate with contractors, engineers, commissioning teams, and clients
  • Support project development, quotations, and cost control
  • Provide hands-on training and mentoring for site personnel
  • Produce Risk Assessments & Method Statements and capture lessons learned

Requirements

  • Experience in hydro projects and site management
  • BTEC/HND in Electrical Engineering
  • Strong organisational, communication, and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Willingness to travel and work onsite in the UK and internationally
  • Experience supervising teams and promoting continuous improvement
