As a Programme Management Associate, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful delivery of complex automotive programmes. You will lead the creation and maintenance of programme documentation, data, and reports, enabling seamless cross-functional collaboration. Acting as a key link between the Programme Managers and wider teams, you will drive coordination, communication, and proactive issue resolution to keep projects on track. This role offers exposure to end-to-end programme delivery and is an excellent pathway to Programme Manager positions. You will work on exciting automotive technology and vehicle projects with iconic brands and emerging leaders in mobility.

Key Responsibilities

  • Programme Planning & Tracking
    • Maintain accurate, resourced, and costed project plans to support programme milestones.
  • Monitor programme costs, forecast future spend, and collaborate with all functions to meet cost targets.
  • Maintain live deliverable status versus targets and proactively highlight deviations.
  • Data & Documentation Management
    • Own the Bill of Materials lifecycle, from initial setup through refinement and into production.
  • Coordinate timely component releases and track KPIs to ensure readiness for all build phases.
  • Ensure programme data repositories (e.g. SharePoint) are structured, current, and accessible.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate reports and dashboards to enable robust decision-making.
  • Stakeholder Coordination
    • Provide clear, consistent communication to internal teams and external suppliers.
  • Support invoicing and scope change processes, ensuring compliance with client and internal requirements.
  • Facilitate meetings, manage action items, and ensure alignment across departments.
  • Risk & Issue Management
    • Identify risks early and take pre-emptive actions to maintain delivery against plan.
  • Escalate issues promptly and support mitigation strategies.

Who are we looking for?

Our ideal candidate will have an Engineering/Programme Management degree, with proven experience in project management or product development, ideally within an automotive environment. You will be familiar with industry-standard project delivery processes and be proficient in MS Project, with project management tools an advantage. You will have experience with IFS or similar MRP tools, with strong organisational and time management skills and excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities. An analytical mindset with attention to detail is essential, with the ability to quickly understand new products, processes and techniques.
