About The Opportunity
The Organisational Assurance Coordinator will provide efficient and effective coordination of organisational assurance activities and information to support the Operational Assurance Manager. You will contribute to continual service improvement across the organisation in line with Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Service policy and procedure, helping maintain high standards of performance, governance, and learning.
Key Responsibilities
In this dynamic and evolving role, you will:
- Administer the organisational assurance process, liaising with suppliers and users of the electronic reporting system.
- Coordinate and monitor action plans arising from organisational assurance processes, ensuring improvements are tracked through to closure.
- Coordinate the station assurance process and communicate relevant information ahead of planned visits.
- Organise operational CPD forums, ensuring resources are prepared in line with the agreed agenda.
- Maintain and update content on electronic learning platforms.
- Provide administrative and clerical support to the management team, including arranging meetings, handling calls, greeting visitors, minute taking and decision logging.
- Analyse, collate and present statistical information and reports for management and governance meetings.
- Administer organisational records in line with service policy, both digitally and in hard copy.
- Assist in monitoring expenditure for organisational assurance activity.
- Coordinate administration of the National Operational Guidance programme, including NOL and JOL environments.
- Support compliance with Health & Safety requirements.
- Maintain data in line with GDPR and FOI legislation.
- Take responsibility for personal development through training and qualifications.
- Support the Operational Assurance Manager or their deputy to ensure continuity.
- Undertake any other duties as reasonably required by the Head of Operational Assurance.

- Flexible and adaptable, with willingness to learn new skills
- Competent in the use of relevant software
Desirable
- Full driving licence and access to a vehicle
