Job Summary

We're looking for an experienced and confident Front of House team member to join us at The Club House — a busy, contemporary café and event space with a focus on quality, atmosphere, and genuine hospitality.

This role is ideal for someone who's naturally warm, takes pride in good service, and thrives in a fast-paced but well-run environment.

You should:

  • Have previous hospitality or bistro-style service experience (3 year minimum)
  • Be professional, reliable, and proactive
  • Have strong customer service skills and attention to detail
  • Enjoy working as part of a small, hands-on team
  • Take genuine pride in presentation and guest experience

Responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, ensuring a friendly and inviting atmosphere.
  • Take orders accurately and efficiently, providing recommendations when necessary.
  • Assist with catering events, ensuring all requirements are met for successful service.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area, including dining spaces and service stations.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery.
  • Adhere to food safety regulations, ensuring the highest standards of hygiene are maintained.
  • Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, striving for complete guest satisfaction.
  • Support barista duties when required, preparing coffee and other beverages to high standards.

Pay: £12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
