As a Data Director, you will lead major projects providing technical guidance and engaging with leaders from our clients' teams & end clients, some who know a lot about tech and some who don't, ensuring our services meet their true needs and expectations. You'll be working very closely with our Client & Leadership teams to help with pre-sales and building proposals for prospective and existing clients.You are the go-to person in your vertical for data queries. You'll act as a mentor to our team, promoting continuous learning and improvement, and developing inclusive leaders and successors. You'll build trust and ensure a safe, emotionally healthy environment, driving the adoption of innovative data architecture methodologies, especially focusing on AI and FLOW as strategic tools for efficiency and innovation. Your leadership ensures our data systems are secure, well-organized, and aligned with business needs. You will also balance team competencies, manage financial aspects, and ensure operational excellence through continuous improvement and effective risk management. In essence, you're the driving force that enhances our data expertise and keeps an atmosphere of ongoing learning and innovation.
**Responsibilities
Leading on proposals that involve data architecture while ensuring team engagement and alignment with CI&T's culture and values.
Providing technical guidance to the team and to clients, including those who may not have a technical background.
Acting as a point of contact for top managers seeking assistance with everyday tasks or strategic growth initiatives.
Mentoring the team, promoting continuous learning, inclusive leadership, and building successors.
Making critical decisions about data architecture based on project requirements and strategic objectives.
Spearheading changes in data architecture methodologies, incorporating new technologies and approaches with a focus on AI and FLOW.
Guiding the team in using agile methods to efficiently complete projects.
Ensuring that the data systems align with the business needs and client satisfaction.
Implementing solutions that are secure, regulate access, manage data lifecycles effectively, and maintain an organized structure.
Driving the enhancement of data expertise within the team and fostering an environment of continuous learning and innovation.
Building trust and promoting an emotionally healthy and safe work environment.
Balancing team competencies, seniority, and succession plans while managing financial aspects and operational excellence.
**Must Haves
Extensive experience in a Data Architect position within a consultancy similar to CI&T
Databricks experience
Experience in sales and presenting to clients and helping the RFP process
Experienced within the FS SectorMachine Learning and AI experience
Willing to come to London office/clients office 2 - 3 days a week.
