Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Apprentice to join our healthcare team. This paid position offers an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience in pharmacy operations, medication management, and patient care. Duties

  • Assist with medication preparation and organisation under supervision, ensuring accuracy and safety.
  • Support pharmacy staff with medication administration procedures, adhering to established protocols.
  • Provide compassionate patient care by answering queries and offering assistance within the pharmacy setting.
  • Maintain accurate records of medication dispensed and patient interactions in accordance with legal and organisational standards.
  • Help organise stock levels, check expiry dates, and ensure the cleanliness and organisation of the pharmacy area.
  • Participate in training sessions to develop knowledge of pharmaceutical products, procedures, and healthcare regulations.
  • Support administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and inventory management as required.

Experience

  • Previous experience as a pharmacy technician or related healthcare role is desirable but not essential; training will be provided.
  • Knowledge of medication administration processes is advantageous.
  • Strong interest in patient care and healthcare services is essential.
  • Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail are required to ensure accuracy in all tasks.
  • Good communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while demonstrating initiative and professionalism. This apprenticeship provides a comprehensive introduction to pharmaceutical practice, fostering professional growth while supporting our commitment to high-quality patient care.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: £18,315.00-£32,096.17 per year

Expected hours: 30 per week
