Apprentice Rotational Pharmacy Assistant Join to apply for the Apprentice Rotational Pharmacy Assistant role at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. Overview The successful candidate will rotate between the dispensary, goods receipt and distribution sections, as well as undertake ward top‑ups. The role is part of the Pharmacy Services Assistant Apprenticeship programme, designed to give you the training and experience needed for a permanent Band 2 Pharmacy Assistant position and the opportunity to progress toward a Pre‑registration Trainee Pharmacy Technician Level 3 appointment. Responsibilities Provide service provision in Goods Receipt, Distribution and the Dispensary on a rotational basis. Support the introduction and maintenance of defined stock management processes and standards. Work with the goods receipt and distribution teams to ensure key performance indicators are achieved. Undertake training for a Health Pharmacy Services Level 2 nationally recognised qualification. Qualifications & Requirements Minimum entry: 5 GCSEs at grade 4/C or above (or equivalent) including Maths, English and Science. Willingness to work weekend, bank holiday and shift work, and to work flexibly. Strong motivation and self‑initiative in a fast‑paced environment. Working Conditions Keynotes of the role include: Weekend shifts and bank holiday duties may be required. Part of a team guided by Trust Values, prioritising patient care and employee well‑being. Employment is subject to a six‑month probationary period.
