An exciting opportunity has arisen for an individual to join our NACCC accredited Child Contact Centre.
Family Support Worker
As a Family Support Worker within our Child Contact Centre, you will play a vital role in supporting children and families during supervised or supported contact sessions.
Initially the role would be to support the Child Contact Team on Saturday's by managing the busy reception area, ensuring all families arrive and depart the centre smoothly and helping the team to facilitate handovers and supported contact sessions.
Training would be provided so that you are able to supervise family sessions on a one-to-one basis, managing your own caseload and working in liaison with the family courts and social workers.
Candidates must have at least NVQ Level 3 in a Health and Social Care subject for this role and an Enhanced DBS check will be undertaken.
A degree in Social Work would be advantageous. Good organisational, people and IT skills are also essential.
As Saturday is the busiest day in the centre, you must be available to support the team on this day between the hours of 9:30am and 4pm.
