THE ROLE
We are seeking a
Talent & People Advisor
to provide proactive support across all areas of the People function, with a focus on recruitment and HR generalist activities. You will act as one of the key points of contact for employees and managers, ensuring a seamless experience throughout the employee lifecycle - from attracting and onboarding talent to supporting development and ensuring HR compliance. This role requires a hands-on, solutions-focused individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering an exceptional People experience.
KEY RESPONSIBILTIES
Recruitment & Onboarding
- Manage end-to-end recruitment processes, including posting job ads, screening candidates, coordinating interviews, and providing timely feedback.
- Act as the primary contact for the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and recruitment-related queries.
- Coordinate pre-employment checks, including Right to Work verification and reference checks.
- Maintain and update candidate databases and ensure all records are accurate and compliant.
- Oversee onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring all required documentation, systems, and introductions are completed smoothly.
- Keep the company careers page up to date with current vacancies and remove filled roles promptly.
HR Generalist Support
- Provide day-to-day HR support to employees and managers, offering guidance on policies, procedures, and best practice.
- Maintain employee records, ensuring all data (e.g., contracts, start dates, probation reviews) is accurate and up to date.
- Support the preparation and delivery of HR documentation, including contracts, letters, and meeting notes.
- Assist with employee relations meetings by preparing documentation, taking minutes, and following up on action points.
- Support HR projects such as engagement initiatives, training coordination, and process improvements.
Administration & Systems
- Ensure all HR and recruitment systems are consistently updated and maintained.
- Provide accurate HR reports and insights as required.
- Manage confidential employee data in line with GDPR and company policies.
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERTISE
- 1+ years' experience working as a HR Generalist or HR Advisor with recruitment responsibilities
- Strong understanding of HR processes, employment legislation, and best practice
- Proven experience managing end-to-end recruitment, including candidate sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding
- Experience using HR systems and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)
- Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise effectively
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, able to build trusted relationships across all levels
- High attention to detail, accuracy, and discretion when handling confidential information
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment with the ability to adapt to change
