Shift Pattern: Variable shifts (typically 06:30 - 16:00)

Purpose of the Role

On behalf of our client, Vinci Facilities, we are seeking a reliable and motivated Mobile Cleaning Operative to join our Facilities Management team in Derby. This is a field-based role, requiring travel between multiple sites to deliver high-quality cleaning and hygiene services.

As a key member of our operational team, you will play an important role in maintaining clean, safe, and welcoming environments for our clients.

Please note: A full UK driving licence is essential for this role, as you will be required to travel between sites.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out a range of cleaning and hygiene duties to a high standard across multiple sites.
  • Perform general cleaning tasks including wiping, dusting, vacuuming, mopping, carpet and stain cleaning, window cleaning, waste removal, litter picking, and washroom servicing.
  • Maintain cleaning equipment to ensure it is clean, safe, and in good working condition.
  • Follow all health and safety and COSHH guidelines while carrying out cleaning duties.
  • Work proactively and flexibly to meet site and client requirements.
  • Support the Cleaning Supervisor and Management Team by completing tasks to the required standard and within agreed timescales.
  • Provide a professional and customer-focused service at all times.

Essential Requirements

  • Full UK driving licence – required for this mobile role.
  • Previous experience in a similar cleaning or facilities maintenance role.
  • A good level of physical fitness, as the role involves manual work and movement between multiple sites.
  • The right to work in the UK with valid supporting documentation.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a proactive, customer-focused attitude.
