We are currently looking for Moulding Operatives to join us at Chippenham. If you want to make a difference and work for a purpose-led company, please read on.

The role

• Check products to ensure a high standard of product.
• Maintain high levels of 6S throughout the day.
• Exceptions reported to the operator or departmental Team Leader.
• Adherence level I responsibilities.
• All non-conforming parts, short shots, burn etc. rejected & informed operator.
• Behavioural & safety audits completed to plan.
• To complete a minimum of one Peer to Peer audit per month.
• Understand work schedule & plan ahead, move pens & cages in a safe manner.
• Print labels in advance to assist with smooth start up of production.
• Lead by example & assisting to develop new agency workers.
• Attendance and participation demonstrated in site/departmental improvement teams.
• Undertake training courses as identified by departmental Supervision.  

The profile

• Practical experience of assembly working.
• Practical experience of medium batch production process.
• Must be able to demonstrate manual dexterity.
• Must be able to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
• Ability to show attention to detail when checking parts.
• Education: General secondary education
