Key Responsibilities

  • Lead & Develop Teams:
    Build and mentor high-performing teams, fostering a culture of accountability, growth, and excellence.
  • Modernise Processes:
    Implement
    digital accounting tools, automation, and AI solutions
    , challenging outdated practices.
  • Client Portfolio Management:
    Deliver high-quality audit, accounts, and advisory services; nurture strong client relationships and add tangible value.
  • Drive Business Growth:
    Identify new business opportunities, expand services to existing clients, and contribute to profitable practice growth.
  • Strategic Input:
    Partner with Directors and Partners to define practice priorities, improve processes, and develop innovative services.
  • Change Management:
    Lead the adoption of new systems, technologies, and modern workflows across teams.

Required Skills & Experience

  • ACA or ACCA qualified (or equivalent) with significant post-qualification experience in practice.
  • Proven leadership and team management experience within an accountancy practice.
  • Strong commercial awareness with the ability to identify growth opportunities.
  • Strategic thinker, balancing short-term operational needs with long-term business goals.
  • Experience implementing
    digital tools, AI, and automation
    in accounting practices.
  • Knowledge of the
    North West business landscape
    is highly advantageous.
