  • Maintain appropriate levels of day to day supervision and student behaviour across the estate, challenging unacceptable behaviour as necessary.

  • Work collaboratively with the Estates Team to support Health & Safety compliance, particularly within the Town Centre Campuses.

  • To be an active member of the First Aid Team including an active member of the rota, undertaking a First Aid qualification to provide first response where necessary, in particular within the W Block and Saints sites.

  • Support students in effectively using a range of technologies and industry-standard software across College Services and the Film, Media & Photography departments, promoting digital confidence and independent learning.

  • Maintain and monitor college learning resources and technical equipment, including books, AV tools, cameras, and IT hardware, ensuring they are well-organised, functional, and readily available, liaising with the film, media and photography technician where necessary.

  • Manage the booking, distribution, and tracking of digital equipment, working closely with the IT department to ensure timely maintenance and updates.

  • Undertake ongoing training and development in IT systems and emerging technologies, staying up to date with software and equipment relevant to both administrative and creative functions.

  • Assist with maintaining stock levels, ordering supplies, and ensuring a clean, safe, and efficient working environment.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Take ownership of equipment and resource management, ensuring all technical and learning materials are well-maintained, accessible, and ready for use.

  • Deliver efficient, high-quality administrative services, including reprographics, post handling, ID badge issuing, and maintaining accurate records to support smooth daily operations.

  • Monitor student absences and provide timely intervention, ensuring accurate records and proactive communication with staff and families to support student success.

  • Champion a positive and supportive learning environment, encouraging students to develop essential study and organisational skills that build resilience and self-belief.

  • Collaborate with colleagues with emotional intelligence, giving and receiving feedback constructively to drive continuous improvement and shared accountability.

  • Embrace professional growth and innovation, staying current with evolving technologies and seeking creative solutions to enhance the student and staff experience.
