About Us:

Flexi First Class Care (FFC) provides safe, supportive semi-independent living for young people aged 16–25. We help care leavers and vulnerable young people develop life skills, confidence, and independence in a welcoming and inclusive environment.

The Role:

We are looking for dedicated and compassionate Support Workers to join our team. In this role, you will support young people in our semi-independent homes, helping them build essential life skills and guiding them toward independence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support young people with daily living tasks including cooking, cleaning, budgeting, and personal care.
  • Help residents develop independent living skills such as managing money, planning meals, using public transport, and accessing education or employment opportunities.
  • Provide emotional support, mentoring, and guidance to help young people navigate challenges.
  • Maintain a safe and respectful environment, following safeguarding and company policies.
  • Work closely with colleagues and external professionals to ensure the best outcomes for residents.

What We're Looking For:

  • A caring, patient, and empathetic individual with a genuine desire to support young people.
  • Experience in residential care, supported living, or working with vulnerable young people is preferred but not essential — full training will be provided.
  • Flexible and adaptable, willing to work shifts including evenings, nights, and sleep-ins.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work as part of a team.
