About Mino Pottery Painting:

Mino is start-up, high quality, attentive pottery painting café and bar. We are based in Herne Hill, near vibrant Brixton and leafy Dulwich and will be focussed on offering a unique blend of artistic experiences featuring high quality ceramic painting, all while enjoying speciality coffee, drinks and small plates.

Position and responsibilities:

We are looking for an enthusiastic Pottery Cafe Host /Assistant to join our front house team.

  • Assist in drinks preparation in a fast-paced cafe setting;
  • maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and drinks preparation areas;
  • help customers to select pottery painting material
  • handle POS transactions with customers;
  • assist with inventory management, including receiving and stocking supplies;
  • provide excellent customer service by taking orders, serving drinks and addressing customer inquiries or concerns;
  • manage and coordinate with the rest of the team during peak hours in a fast-paced cafe environment;
  • help host parties and events, including children's, hen, birthday and corporate events; and
  • adhere to all health and safety regulations.

Qualifications:

We are looking for a individuals with:

  • previous experience in restaurants/café/pottery studio;
  • an ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail;
  • strong communication skills and ability to work well with a team;
  • flexibility to work different shifts, including weekends and holidays;
  • eligibility to work in the UK; and
  • a base in London. We are located in SE24 9HU and we would require you to reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Pay: From £13.85 per hour (Full time roles or negotiable if part time)
