Operations Manager
Due to upcoming organisational changes within our Bampton site, we have an exciting opportunity for a motivated, solutions-focused leader who can provide stability, direction and innovation during a period of development and integration.
The Bampton Operations Manager will play a pivotal role in leading and co-ordinating the operational, digital and administrative functions across Bampton Surgery and Bampton Pharmacy, with potential for occasional cross-site working.
This role offers the opportunity to shape the future operating model for Bampton, supporting the integration of practice and pharmacy services and contributing to digital and organisational transformation across Amicus Health Group. The post holder will benefit from:
- NHS Pension
- 6 weeks annual leave (pro rata)
- Flexibility around working hours
- Supportive senior leadership and partners
This role has a strong operational focus, ensuring the effective day-to-day running of both the practice and pharmacy, the smooth co-ordination between clinical and non-clinical teams, and the optimisation of digital tools to enhance patient care and recall processes.
Working closely with the Group Manager, Lead Partner at Bampton and the central Amicus Health Group senior team, the post holder will lead staff, drive quality improvement, develop workflows across the practice-pharmacy interface, and ensure delivery against key operational, clinical, regulatory and financial targets.
A high degree of organisational skill, confident decision-making and a systematic approach to planning and problem solving are essential. As a visible leader for the Bampton site, the post holder will champion patient experience, foster a positive culture and ensure that Bampton continues to thrive within a challenging but rewarding primary care environment.
Amicus Health Group is a thriving practice with five sites located in the picturesque Mid Devon area covering Clare House, Bampton, Witheridge, Morchard Bishop and Cheriton Fitzpaine surgeries. We deliver excellent primary care across Mid Devon thanks to our multidisciplinary clinical team of GPs, pharmacists, ANP's, paramedics, practice nurses, HCAs and a strong administrative function.
Despite our size, we maintain a strong team ethos with daily meetings, regular clinical team discussions and shared lunch breaks.
We provide fruit, tea and coffee for all staff and foster team spirit with annual summer and Christmas parties, yoga, walking groups and appreciation postcards.
