Aftersales Driver – Fixed Term Contract

Our Horizon Honda dealership in Poole is recruiting for an Aftersales Driver to join a small, friendly team. This is a full-time position primarily being offered on a 3-month fixed term basis with potential to extend if there is a genuine business requirement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform assigned deliveries and pickups in a timely manner, maintaining a high level of professionalism
  • Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate delivery schedules and ensure customer satisfaction
  • Work co-operatively and flexibly with others across all departments and the dealership to ensure the highest level of service is offered to the customer
  • Adhere to all traffic laws and company driving policies at all times
  • Handle heavy lifting when required during loading and unloading processes
  • Driving cars between company sites as required
  • Working with the Service department to complete service washes and customer car collection and deliveries where required
  • Maintain the customer facing site, sweeping and weeding where required

We are looking for someone:

  • With a Full, clean Driving licence (you will be subject to licence checks)
  • Previous experience of in a professional driver role is advantageous.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients.
  • With good energy and fitness as this is largely a role with physical tasks
  • Who has a clean and tidy appearance with good interpersonal skills

Salary and Benefits:

  • £12.21 per hour

  • Hours: Monday - Friday 08:30 – 17:00 with a 30-minute unpaid break, Rotational Saturday (1 in 4) 08:30 - 12:30.
