Are you a dynamic, strategic leader ready to make a real impact in a high performing, inclusive secondary school? We are seeking an experienced and driven School Business Manager to join our high-performing team at The Fallibroome Academy, an 11–18 secondary school committed to delivering outstanding education and opportunities for every student.

About the Role

As School Business Manager, you will play a key role in the leadership of the school, working closely with the Headteacher and senior leadership team. You will lead on finance, HR, operations, health and safety, and compliance—ensuring that the school runs efficiently and continues to thrive.

Key Responsibilities:

· Strategic and operational leadership of the school's business functions

· Budget management and financial reporting

· Oversight of HR procedures and staff recruitment (non-teaching)

· Facilities, health & safety, and risk management

· Leading support staff teams across finance, administration, and site management

· Supporting governance and compliance, including procurement and policy development

What We Are Looking For:

· Proven experience in a similar school business or operational leadership role

· Strong financial management skills and knowledge of school funding and compliance

· Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills

· A proactive, solution-focused approach

· Relevant qualifications (e.g. DSBM, CSBM, or accountancy/HR/business management equivalent) preferred
