Albany Beck is seeking an experienced PMO Consultant to join our consultancy team, working on-site with one of our leading financial services partners. This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive and delivery-focused professional to play a key role in driving strategic projects across asset servicing and operations.

About the Role

You'll be responsible for supporting and overseeing complex change initiatives within a fast-paced financial environment. Working closely with senior stakeholders, you'll ensure projects are delivered efficiently, risks are managed effectively, and governance standards are upheld. The ideal candidate combines hands-on project management expertise with strong communication and analytical skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the end-to-end delivery of business and regulatory projects within asset servicing and operational domains.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams across technology, operations, product, and compliance to ensure alignment and delivery excellence.
  • Provide clear updates on progress, risks, and dependencies to senior stakeholders and steering committees.
  • Maintain governance frameworks, project plans, RAID logs, and documentation to ensure transparency and accountability.
  • Drive process improvement and identify opportunities to enhance project delivery efficiency.
  • Support regulatory and strategic initiatives, ensuring adherence to relevant financial regulations.

Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in a PMO or project management role within financial services.
  • Solid understanding of asset servicing and regulatory change projects.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with confidence engaging senior leadership.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver under pressure.
  • Highly organised, detail-oriented, and proactive in identifying and resolving issues.
  • Experience with project management methodologies such as Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid frameworks.
  • Proficiency with tools including MS Project, JIRA, Confluence, and Excel.

Desirable Qualifications

  • Formal project management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, AgilePM, or equivalent).
  • Background in custody, fund administration, or securities operations.
  • Exposure to digital transformation or automation initiatives.
