Howdens Joinery, the UK's number one Trade Kitchen Supplier, is seeking to hire a People and Productivity Analyst to lead on evaluating depot performance, optimising resource allocation and identifying opportunities to improve operational efficiency and sales growth. This includes collecting and analysing workforce data, setting and monitoring productivity metrics, and providing actionable insights to support depots to grow sales. You will partner with HR, the Trade Leadership team and Trade Support teams to drive data-driven decisions that improve employee performance, engagement, and overall depot productivity. Based in our Raunds, Northamptonshire office four days a week and one day working from home.

What you'll be doing as a People and Productivity Analyst

  • Analysing Trade sales and workforce data (e.g., headcount, labour costs, turnover, sales performance) to identify trends and areas of opportunity
  • Developing, tracking, and reporting on key productivity metrics and performance indicators.
  • Partnering with HR and regional teams to optimise resource allocation.
  • Recommending process improvements to enhance operational efficiency, productivity and sales growth
  • Preparing regular reporting and presentations for the Trade leadership team with actionable insights.
  • Using analytics tools and software to create dashboards
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop strategies that improve employee engagement and reduce turnover
  • Keeping informed about workforce planning best practices and industry benchmarks
