Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate person to join our team. Someone who is ready to learn all aspects of the job.

Current working days will be Tuesday, Wednesday and Saturday

We are an established grooming parlour with great groomers and a wealth of expetice

The ideal candidate will have a passion for animal care and a strong commitment to providing excellent customer service.

As a dog groomer, you will be responsible for ensuring that pets are groomed to the highest standards while maintaining their comfort and safety throughout the process.

Duties

  • Perform grooming services including bathing.
  • Training will be given.
  • Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with pet owners regarding grooming.
  • Maintain a clean and organised grooming area, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly sanitised.
  • Handle pets safely and compassionately.
  • Assist with heavy lifting of larger animals as necessary during the grooming process.
  • Possibility of over time as experiance is gained.

Holiday pay and sick pay will be on a prorated basis after trial period.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in is highly desirable, but not necessary.
  • Ideally a level two city in guilds qualification.
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with pet owners.
  • Capability to perform heavy lifting when handling larger pets or equipment.
  • A genuine love for animals and a commitment to their wellbeing is essential.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: £10.00-£13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 – 24 per week
