Your Role as a Biology ECT

  • Plan and deliver engaging Biology lessons to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage students.

  • Work closely with an experienced mentor, receiving tailored support and professional development.
  • Encourage students to develop a passion for biology through interactive discussions, experiments, and case studies.
  • Lead extracurricular activities such as biology clubs, science fairs, and field trips.

  • A Biology graduate with QTS (or working towards it).
  • A genuine passion for teaching Biology and helping students connect with the natural world.
  • A dynamic and adaptable teaching style that caters to a range of learning needs.
  • A collaborative and proactive educator who will contribute to the department's goals and activities.
