The Senior Manager for EMEA Enterprise Partner Solution Leadership is responsible for guiding a wide technical community across EMEA to drive partner success, enablement, and technical influence in enterprise accounts. This role leads the Partner Technical Specialists and Partner Solution Architect communities, focusing on strategic empowerment, accountability, and the embodiment of Microsoft's values and culture. By modeling, coaching, and caring, the manager attracts and retains top talent, while nurturing an environment of collaboration and high performance.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and develop a diverse team of Partner Technical Specialists and Solution Architects across EMEA, ensuring the delivery of partner success and technical enablement in enterprise accounts.
  • Establish and nurture strategic relationships with a varied portfolio of partners, including strategic, local, multi-national, and high-potential cloud-based organizations.
  • Serve as an expert advisor for partner-related matters, guiding partner assignment and selection strategies, expectation-setting, and steering the team toward targeted outcomes and goals.
  • Guide and mentor managers and senior team members on best practices to uncover, assess, and fulfill partner services, readiness, and technical needs, as well as address gaps and drive enablement plans.
  • Set clear team targets and provide high-level guidance on contract renewals, partner acquisition, and overall partner relationship management strategies.
  • Ensure partners are properly set up and successfully leveraging support contracts and resources; hold managers accountable for meeting readiness objectives, processes, and tool adoption.
  • Champion partner needs with internal stakeholders, advocating for and mobilizing resources to address partner goals, resolve systemic issues, and influence organizational action when necessary.
  • Adapt and enhance corporate and Partner Success strategies in alignment with key stakeholder and partner objectives, acting as a subject matter expert for internal and external audiences.
  • Orchestrate and allocate technical resources to support solution pipeline strategy, guarantee adequate partner capacity, and facilitate successful business and technology solution scenarios.
  • Act as a thought leader—synthesizing business insights, industry best practices, and experiential learning to plot and drive the strategic, long-term vision of the partner ecosystem.
  • Provide comprehensive partner analysis for large, complex accounts; identify and advise on opportunities for Microsoft solutions to address partner and customer needs.
  • Collaborate with senior executives within high-impact partner organizations to align technology solutions with future business needs, ensuring long-term growth and mutual success.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Extensive experience in technical community management, partner enablement, and enterprise solution architecture, preferably within the technology or cloud industry.
  • Demonstrated leadership and people management skills across diverse, geographically dispersed teams.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strategic relationships with senior stakeholders—both internal and external.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities, with a track record of driving cross-functional initiatives.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft technologies, cloud platforms, and relevant partner solutions.

Preferred Skills

  • Deep understanding of partner ecosystems and enterprise customer environments within EMEA markets.
  • Ability to synthesize conflicting business insights and align teams toward common objectives.
  • Strategic visioning and ability to drive change in complex, fast-paced environments.
  • Experience guiding large-scale organizational change and transformation programs.
