As a registered and authorised supplier to the NHS, Direct Medics' Mental Health Team are working with Psychology professionals throughout the UK & Ireland to help them find new and exciting opportunities to further develop their career.
Job Description:
As such, Direct Medics are working in partnership with an NHS Trust to find an experienced and dedicated Clinical Psychologist who will be based in the Oxford area, providing a comprehensive specialist clinical psychology service on an ad-hoc basis to support employee relations cases.
Locum roles with Direct Medics are a great way of enhancing your earning potential as well as working with some of the most professional and successful mental health teams in the country. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated candidate with experience of occupational settings and trauma services. Experience in group work is important, and mediation training would be advantageous.
This role is ideally covering ad hoc shifts on a temporary basis.
Essential Requirements
- HCPC registration as a Clinical Psychologist with BABCP accreditation being highly desirable.
- Significant post graduate UK based experience as a Clinical Psychologist in acute hospital settings
- UK experience in occupational settings and trauma, local Adult Mental Health Teams (AMHTs) and clear local risk management protocols
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Full UK drivers license and access to own car
- Right to live and work in the UK
