Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Finance Assistant to join Cobra Engineering in the United Kingdom on a part-time basis, with the view to increase over time. This role is vital in supporting our financial operations and ensuring smooth administrative processes within our engineering company.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with daily financial transactions and bookkeeping activities, including purchase ledger processing
  • Collaborate with the finance team to ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
  • Provide administrative support to the finance department as needed.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Finance Assistant or similar role.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial procedures.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications, especially Excel & Outlook.
  • Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) is preferred.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good communication skills
  • A relevant finance or accounting qualification is advantageous.

Part-time - 20 hours per week

Monday to Friday 09:00-13:00
