About the Role

As a self-employed Plumbing & Heating Engineer, you'll play a crucial role in the installation and servicing of cutting-edge heat pumps for domestic and commercial clients. You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of heat pump systems, offering both installation and servicing, and contributing to the overall success of the team. Working Hours

This is a full-time, self-employed position, Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. There may also be opportunities for overtime, depending on project requirements.

Key Duties
  • Install and service heat pump systems for both residential and commercial clients.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for existing systems.
  • Work alongside an apprentice, offering guidance and mentoring to support their growth and development.
  • Maintain the highest standards of health and safety, as well as the company's customer service protocols.
  • Ensure all work is completed within agreed timeframes and budgets.
Key Requirements
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in plumbing and heating, with specific experience in renewable energy systems.
  • Qualified with relevant plumbing and heating certifications.
  • A full driving license.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication skills, with a customer-first attitude.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to mentor and work alongside an apprentice.
  • Self-motivated and driven to deliver high-quality results.
