JOB TITLE: Technical and Environmental Services Administrator

IMMEDIATE MANAGER: Technical and Environmental Services Manager

JOB PURPOSE

The Technical and Environmental Services Administrator provides administrative, technical, and compliance support to the Technical and Environmental Services team. This role ensures the smooth coordination of environmental management systems, regulatory reporting, data collection, and documentation to support the organization's sustainability and operational objectives.

MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Technical and Environmental Services Manager.
  • Maintain accurate records, documentation, and databases related to environmental monitoring, waste management, and compliance activities.
  • Assist with TEC, water and drainage renewals, audits, and inspections
  • Liaise with suppliers, contractors, and service providers to ensure timely delivery and compliance with specifications
  • Manage incoming and outgoing communications such as emails, telephone calls, and mail.
  • Maintain and update filing systems (electronic and physical) to ensure accurate record keeping.
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings.
  • Contribute to process improvements and administrative efficiency initiatives.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED

  • Proven experience in an administrative role.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise workload effectively.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and general office software.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a professional attitude.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to tasks.
  • Knowledge of office procedures and basic administrative best practice
