Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organised and efficient Administrative Assistant to support our office operations. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring smooth administrative workflows, managing correspondence, and maintaining accurate records. This paid position offers an excellent opportunity to develop organisational and clerical skills within a professional environment. This role will be spilt over 2 different office as you will be expected to help out with pay roll on a 4 weekly basic.
Duties
- Organising and scheduling appointments and meetings
- Performing data entry tasks with accuracy using Microsoft Office and Google Workspace applications
- Maintaining and updating files, records, and databases.
- Assisting with invoicing, billing, and basic bookkeeping activities
- Preparing correspondence, reports, and presentations as required
- Supporting team members with administrative tasks to ensure operational efficiency
- Handling mail distribution and managing office supplies inventory
- Update Health and Safety Documents
- Prepare timesheets for pay
Skills
- Proven office experience with strong organisational skills
- Proficiency in computer skills including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Calendar)
- Experience with data entry and clerical duties with high attention to detail
- Excellent typing speed and accuracy for document preparation and data management
- Strong communication skills with professional phone etiquette
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated organisational skills to prioritise tasks efficiently
- Previous administrative experience is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £12.50-£13.50 per hour
Expected hours: 30 per week
