About the role:

  • This role is based at our Trowbridge campus, where you'll teach a class of up to 8 pupils following an EYFS curriculum and PPA cover within an upper KS2 semi formal pathway on the other day
  • These pupils have diverse and complex needs including Autism, sensory needs, and communication difficulties.
  • You'll plan and deliver engaging lessons that develop emotional regulation, social interaction, and confidence in a nurturing and structured environment.
  • You'll be part of a close-knit team of 15 dedicated SEN teachers who offer a friendly and collaborative teaching culture.
  • You'll use and share adaptive teaching techniques to meet an EYFS and Semi-Formal curriculum working on developing social skills, interactions and emotional regulation through a range of activities using a variety of teaching methods.

  • Shows resilience and remains calm and who is solution focused at all times throughout the day
