We're looking for a proactive Forklift Driver – General Operative to join our busy production and distribution team. If you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and want to be part of a company that values safety, quality, and teamwork—this is the opportunity for you.

What's on Offer:

Salary: £14 ph

Location: Dagenham

Hours: 40 hours

What you'll be doing

  • Operating high-speed bagging lines to produce high-quality, retail-ready products.
  • Providing forklift support to keep production lines running efficiently.
  • Managing stock movements and loading heavy goods vehicles for despatch.
  • Supporting shovel driver duties (following training) and stepping in where needed.
  • Completing all required documentation accurately and on time.
  • Following daily production plans and supply picking tickets.
  • Maintaining and optimising machinery to ensure smooth operations.
  • Adhering to all Health & Safety procedures and safe systems of work.

Key accountabilities

  • Accurately working to a supplied daily production plan.
  • Ensure that all in process documentation is completed / up-to-date.
  • Maintaining a consistent, high quality product, suitable for the retail market.
  • Accurately working to a supply picking ticket.
  • Ensuring the highest standards of Health & Safety are maintained at all times.
  • To ensure that the bagging lines are maintained on a regular basis.
  • Optimise bagging line efficiencies.

Job requirements

  • Operate bagging lines in a safe and controlled manner.
  • Driving Forklift Trucks (When Trained)
  • Ability top work as part of a team.
  • Ability to be flexible when required.
  • Ability to work within the health & safety guideline's of the company.

Education/Qualification

Hold a current fork lift certificate (counterbalance certificate)(training can be provided)
