Your Purpose
As the Continuous Improvement Professional at Burton Brewery, your mission is to be the driving force behind the deployment, development, and long-term sustainability of World Class Supply Chain (WCSC) 2.0. You will play a pivotal role in embedding a culture of continuous improvement, capability building, and operational excellence across the site.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the execution of continuous improvement implementation on-site, ensure its successful handover to operational teams through structured capability building and coaching. Champion Autonomous Maintenance (AM) activities and embed them into daily routines.
- Coach and develop Line Leads, Operational Line Structures, Pillar Leads, and Site Leadership teams through on-the-floor support, expert training, and targeted projects that drive loss elimination and deliver tangible business benefits.
- Establish and maintain mechanisms that drive consistent reapplication of best practices. Foster a culture that values standards adherence and recognises excellence and rewards standards adherence.
- Support the development of a high-performance culture through capability building and by aligning behaviours with the site's Compelling Business Need (CBN), working with Line Leads to ensure teams understand their role in delivering results through ownership.
About You
- Proven experience in a WCSC, continuous improvement, operational excellence or similar role.
- Hands on experience deploying continuous improvement programmes in well-established, evolving environment.
- Strong understanding of Supply Chain and planning processes and how this impacts manufacturing/brewery operations.
- Skilled at training and coaching and on CI practices and principles, with the ability to build capability and confidence in others.
- Effective project leader, able to manage performance, give feedback, and drive accountability.
- Strong communicator with the ability to influence, build trust, and drive change.
- Knowledge of health, safety and environmental regulations and best practice.
- Comfortable working with and interpreting data to inform decisions.
