Rosehaven is a 24 bed residential care home in Blackpool, caring for residents with a range of individual needs.
A vacancy has arisen for a Senior Care Assistant 36 hours per week to join and complement our existing Rosehaven team on day shifts.
The ideal candidate will have experience and a good understanding of -
- ordering, administering and handling medications
- documentation - ensuring good documentation of conversations with professionals, residents' relatives etc.
- working as part of a team
- leading a team - ability to give clear instruction and follow up
- liaising with professionals
- care planning
- dealing with safeguarding issues
Hours will be on a rota basis, generally 8am -8pm shifts. Applicants must be flexible with regard to morning/evening/ 12 hour shifts and working weekends on a rota.
Enhanced DBS and 2 references required including most recent employer.
Summary
As a Senior Care Assistant, you will be instrumental in delivering high-quality care to residents, ensuring their well-being and comfort. Reporting to the Care Manager, you will utilize your core skills in caregiving and communication to support daily activities and foster a positive environment. Your premium skills in care home management, and developing care plans will enhance the overall care experience. Additionally, your relevant IT skills will aid in maintaining accurate records.
