We have an excellent opportunity for an
Employee Relations Specialist
to join the team as the Ivy brand continues to grow and expand.

The role plays a key role as the business transitions away from 3rd party ER services. The Employee Relations Specialist will provide expert ER advice managing and advising on ER cases. Developing and maintaining a suit of template letters, policy documents and employee handbook.

Key Responsibilities

  • Advise managers on ER issues including disciplinary, grievance, absence, performance, probation, and appeals.
  • Manage a caseload of ER matters, ensuring timely, fair, and legally compliant outcome
  • Draft and review HR documentation (investigation notes, outcome letters, contracts, policy updates)
  • Support recruitment, onboarding, and retention initiatives in partnership with HRBPs and Talent team
  • Identify opportunities to simplify processes and improve manager/employee experience
  • Leads policy reviews, maintains employee documents such employee handbook, policies and HR procedure guide

Key Skills Required

  • Experience independently managing complex ER cases end-to-end
  • Depth of previous ER and case management experience require
  • Strong knowledge of HR processes and solid grounding in UK employment law (ROI experience highly desirable)
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, confidence to challenge and coach senior managers.
  • Highly organised with attention to detail, able to manage multiple priorities and achieve deadlines.
  • Strong understanding of GDPR regulation
