Overview
As a Creative Copywriter, you'll be the voice behind Boden across digital channels, printed materials, and key brand moments. You'll balance fashion authority with our playful spirit, steering clear of clichés and hackneyed expressions. You'll bring creativity, conceptual thinking, quick and high-quality copy.
This role is primarily Womenswear focused, but you'll also adapt your writing to Mini Boden and brand-wide campaigns. Knowing how to showcase tone of voice to suit different audiences, channels, and messages will be key.
You'll report into the Senior Creative Copy Manager as part of the Brand Marketing Team, working alongside designers, marketers, and art directors to deliver content across our websites, catalogues, emails, social media, CRM, and customer acquisition channels.
Location: 3 days per week in our North Acton office, 2 days working from home
What You'll Do
Write copy for Womenswear and occasionally Brand and Childrenswear touchpoints: digital and print advertising, emails, homepage, catalogues, and social content.
Partner with Brand & Product Marketing to ensure briefs are met and projects are delivered on time and to a high standard.
Craft daily organic captions for Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok, plus Paid Social copy and soundbites for Paid Search.
Support PR with polished press releases.
Collaborate with creative teams and senior Art Directors to bring campaigns to life with sharp, memorable copy.
Contribute to brainstorms and concept development across a variety of brand ventures.
Write longer-form editorial pieces (e.g. denim guides, travel & lifestyle features).
Produce sale copy under pressure — balancing speed, accuracy, and attention to detail.
Implement feedback from senior stakeholders and ensure final copy is always accurate, consistent, and on-brand.
Keep a finger on the pulse of competitors and cultural trends, sharing insights and ideas to champion best-in-class copy across the business.
What We're Looking For
Experience crafting engaging, on-brand copy for both digital and print, ideally within fashion, lifestyle, or luxury retail.
Strong understanding of digital channels and how customers interact with them.
A sharp eye for detail — spotting typos and inconsistencies instantly.
A genuine fascination with language, tone of voice, and brand storytelling.
Proficiency (or willingness to learn) in tools such as Workfront, Miro, and Figma.
Interest in culture, lifestyle, and fashion, with an instinctive feel for style and trends.
