Communications and PR Consultant – Leeds

Location: Leeds (Hybrid working available)

Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience

Contract: Full-time

Due to expansion, we're looking for an experienced and motivated Communications Consultant to join our Leeds-based team.

This is an exciting opportunity to work within a fast-paced, creative communications agency specialising in the property and regeneration sector – working with some of the best UK and international companies in this sector. The ideal candidate will bring PR and communication experience, a strategic mindset, and a passion for helping clients tell their stories, engage communities and deliver great projects.

About the Role

As a key member of our growing team, you'll play an integral role in developing and delivering high-quality communications for a range of clients across the built environment sector.

You'll be responsible for:

  • Drafting engaging communications materials, including media releases, articles, newsletters, websites, consultation materials and social media content
  • Supporting strategic communications and stakeholder engagement
  • Liaising with local authorities, councillors, MPs and community representatives
  • Organising and attending client meetings, stakeholder briefings and public consultation events
  • Helping devise and implement communications strategies and targeted campaigns
  • Contributing creative ideas to help our clients achieve meaningful impact and visibility

About You

We're looking for someone with:

  • Ideally, with experience in public relations, public affairs or stakeholder engagement
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail
  • The ability to understand and manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders
  • Good research and analytical skills, with an enquiring and proactive approach
  • Energy and enthusiasm – the more dynamic the better
  • Initiative, discretion and enthusiasm – a genuine team player who enjoys variety in their work
