We are now recruiting for a Veterinary Surgeon to join a busy locally owned small animal veterinary practice in lovely Halifax area of West Yorkshire

  • full time working 40 hours a week including 1 in 3 Saturdays on a rota and no Sundays, no OOH.
  • practice is locally owned and is modern, equipped to a very high standard and boasts a great reputation locally.
  • caseload is varied with a good mix of surgical and medical cases and a growing local client base.
  • we are looking for an experienced vet confident in routine surgery and consults
  • you will be joining a very experienced and long standing team able to offer you lots of support
  • generous CPD allowance including support for certificates
  • career progression opportunities.
  • Halifax is a famous town in West Yorkshire known for its beautiful architecture, historic buildings and landmarks, it is located in the stunning Pennines hills and mountains and has great transport links with nearby motorways and Leeds Bradford airport around half an hour away.

Person Requirements

  • Degree in Veterinary Medicine or equivalent
  • Registered with the RCVS
  • confident in routine surgery and consults
