Job Overview

Cover for Maternity Leave from October through to Feb, with the potential to become a full-time employee.

We have an opportunity for an efficient and organised individual who thrives in a fast-paced atmosphere. You will mostly be handling the picking & packing of customer orders, so a careful but efficient approach is essential.

A Hardworking, Trustworthy and reliable individual who can work to efficient process methods and adapt to various roles are the key to making things run smoothly.

Remuneration

Pay from £13.23/ Hour, between the hours of 09:30-15:00, 5 days /week. Paid Monthly.

Your hours of work and/or days of work may be increased or decreased but only subject to your prior agreement.

Reports To

The Warehouse & Fulfilment Operative (Part Time) will report to the Manager.

Qualifications:

  • Warehouse experience
  • Picking & packing skills
  • Materials handling expertise
  • Forklift operation not required
  • Familiarity with warehouse management systems
  • Ability to perform shipping & receiving tasks
  • Stocking knowledge
  • Mechanical aptitude
  • Experience in quality control
  • Capability to handle heavy lifting and load & unload task

Responsibilities & Duties

  • Receive deliveries of goods and supplies & document.
  • Check for damaged or missing items & report.
  • Store, rotate goods in the correct areas.
  • Move stock around by hand & Pallet truck.
  • Processing, picking and packing orders in a timely manner, working to targets.
  • Load, and sometimes deliver, goods
  • Keep records of stock & Keep paperwork up to date
  • Using our computer & manual systems to upkeep necessary records and reports
  • Cleaning and maintaining warehouse area & equipment to set standards
  • Consistently working to good standards of health and safety and meeting company warehouse standards and procedures

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From £13.23 per hour

Expected hours: 12 – 36 per week
