Night Shift Cold Store/dry Goods Order Picker

Due to current expansion we are recruiting for a Night Shift Cold Store/Dry Goods order picker to join the busy team in our depot on Rosehill Industrial Estate.

Main duties include:

- Primary role is to efficiently assemble frozen part of customer’s orders in time for the drivers in the morning.
- Cold Store order assembly is in the main cold store across the yard; picking items from in the freezer and assembling the customer’s order in the assembly areas.
- Secondary role if/when cold store job is completed is to assemble dry goods orders in the busy warehouse helping to get all the orders completed in time for the drivers in the morning.
- Dry Goods order assembly in the warehouse; picking items form shelves and fridges and assembling the customer’s order in the aisles moving pallets into pallet pool.
- Stock replenishment maintaining stock levels enabling the smooth running of the department.
- Working in line with Health & Safety, Food safety & Hygiene, FIFO, Traceability and Tidy as you Go policies.
- Each morning bring the cold store items over the yard onto the correct loading bays in time for the drivers to load.

Applicants should be careful workers with a good eye for detail.

Previous warehouse experience is desirable but not essential as full training will be given by our friendly and experienced team.

You need to be at least 18 years of age to work night shift.

**Shift**:Monday - Friday with alternate Sundays and holidays to cover

**Hours**:10:00pm - 06:30am with early starts when needed due to demands of the business.

The rate of pay is £13.66 per hour with anything over 40 hours being paid at £15.66 per hour.

**Breaks**:11:30pm = 15 minutes - paid, 02:00am = 30 minutes - unpaid lunch, 04:45am = 15 minutes - paid

Bring your own lunch as once we are on site we stay on site for security reasons. Microwaves, fridges, tea and coffee are supplied in the canteens so bring your own mug.
