Overview:

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to provide care and assistance to an individual within his own home. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in ensuring the well-being and comfort of our clients. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of others.

The job role is supporting a gentleman within his own home in Tuffley Gloucester. The gentleman has learning disabilities and mental health and you will play a vital role in supporting him to manage his household, access the community and provide emotional support when required.

Responsibilities:

- Verbal Prompt with personal care and support , including bathing, dressing, and grooming

- Assist with medication administration as directed by healthcare professionals

- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients

- Assist with meal preparation

- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients

- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible care for clients

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in caregiving or related fields is preferred but not required

- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

- Compassionate and patient demeanor

- Ability to work independently or as part of a team

- Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules or client needs
