Anderson Knight is delighted to be supporting a well-established organisation in the appointment of an HR Advisor / Generalist to join their HR team. This is an excellent opportunity for an HR professional who genuinely enjoys Employee Relations and thrives in a varied, hands-on role.

The successful candidate will play a key role in providing day-to-day HR support across the business, with a strong focus on managing ER cases while also contributing to wider HR activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing a broad range of Employee Relations cases including absence, disciplinary, grievance and performance management
  • Acting as a trusted advisor to managers, providing clear and practical HR guidance
  • Supporting the development and delivery of training initiatives
  • Reviewing, updating and implementing HR policies and procedures
  • Managing and responding to the HR inbox/mailbox, ensuring timely and accurate advice
  • Supporting general HR administration including contracts, letters and employee documentation
  • Supporting the HR Lead and HR Director with various projects and initiatives

About You:

  • Proven experience in a generalist HR role with strong, hands-on ER exposure
  • Confident managing ER cases independently and comfortable advising managers
  • A genuine interest in and enjoyment of Employee Relations
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • CIPD qualified or working towards qualification (desirable)
  • Able to work effectively in a hybrid environment

What's on Offer:

  • Salary circa £40,000
  • Hybrid working – 3 days per week in the Glasgow office and 2 days from home
  • 35-hour working week
