Maguire Brothers are looking to appoint an experienced and ambitious Flat Roofing Contracts / Senior Contracts Manager to join our established project management team. This is a key leadership role for someone who can confidently take the lead on our flat roofing projects and play a central role in developing the department for long-term success.
This role offers genuine career progression, with a clear path toward becoming the Head of Flat Roofing in the near future. We're looking for someone who can hit the ground running, take ownership, and be a driving force behind our continued expansion.

The Flat Roofing Contracts / Senior Contracts Manager role - Overview:
- Overseeing all aspects of roofing projects from start to completion, ensuring that all targets are hit and taking commercial responsibility.
- Ensuring the highest standards of quality and health and safety across all projects, producing, implementing and following all relevant documentation.
- Preparing project programmes, managing resources, including recruiting labour and sub-contractors.
- Managing and mentoring junior team members to ensure end-to-end delivery of projects whilst identifying and implementing areas for improvement in your department and helping facilitate change throughout the business.
- Take every opportunity to build strong relationships with our clients including regular client visits.
Requirements of the Roofing Contracts / Senior Contracts Manager
- Robust experience in flat roof refurbishment/replacement and contacts within the industry.
- Strong verbal and written interpersonal and communication skills.
- A proven record of accomplishment in successful project management
- An excellent understanding and sound experience of the legal and commercial elements of construction, with experience pricing variations, submitting applications and monitoring commercial performance of projects.
- Ambitious and driven, seeking a long-term role and being capable of building and leading a team.
The Flat Roofing Contracts Manager is an exciting, stimulating and challenging role, in which you will report to the head of contracts, but manage your projects from start to finish. You will need to satisfy and exceed customer expectations to maximise the probability of repeat orders and recommendations. The pipeline for future projects is extremely healthy and the new Flat Roofing Contracts / Senior Contracts Manager will need to hit the ground running.
