About the Role

As a key member of our Talent & People team, you'll design and deliver engaging learning and OD interventions that support our transformation ambitions and people plan. Your work will help foster a culture of continuous learning, enhance employee experience, and build organisational effectiveness—enabling us to attract, retain, and develop top talent.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver impactful Learning and OD programmes aligned with business needs.
  • Partner with Strategic Business Partners to identify learning trends and solutions.
  • Develop and deliver leadership programmes that build core and transformational leadership capabilities including our aspiring leaders programme.
  • Promote and embed "The Aster Way" through leadership and colleague development.
  • Create development programmes that build high-performing teams and critical future skills.
  • Facilitate coaching conversations and blended learning experiences (virtual and in-person).
  • Utilising our system for skills mapping to help support succession planning across the organisation.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of interventions and ensure behavioural change is embedded.
  • Innovate through CPD, external networking, and staying ahead of learning trends.
  • Represent learning and people aspects of change across various programmes.

About You

You'll bring a blend of creativity, strategic thinking, and hands-on experience in learning and OD. You'll be confident in facilitating events, coaching stakeholders, skills mapping, workforce/strategic planning and delivering diagnostic tools such as DISC, SDI, Strengthscope, or Myers Briggs.

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience in designing and delivering impactful learning and OD interventions.
  • Strong facilitation and coaching skills, including with senior stakeholders.
  • Experience with change management and leadership programmes
  • Ability to build collaborative relationships and influence across all levels.
  • Knowledge and understanding of skills mapping and succession planning.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • CIPD Level 5 or equivalent in Learning and Development.

The role is a hybrid role, so you'll be able to base yourself from home. There will be a requirement to complete in person training from time to time so being happy to travel throughout our operating region is a must, you'll ideally be located within the region or close by. Due to the travel required you will hold a full UK driving licence and have access to a vehicle for work purposes.

Our operating region includes, Hampshire, Wiltshire, Somerset, Dorset, Devon, Cornwall and London.
