Senior Administrative Officer

Senior Admin Officer - 25 Hours per week required may be more depending on experience – From December 2025/January 2026

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a well organised and efficient Senior Administrative Officer to join our excellent administrative team. The position is for 25 hours a week, (may be more hours dependent on experience), with a grade E salary - range £19,667.88 to £21, £33,178 to £36369 full Time Equivalent, depending on experience).

The successful applicant will be an excellent multi-tasker, working to tight deadlines and organising your own workload. You will need excellent communication and ICT skills, be able to remain calm under pressure and have a good sense of humour. You will work in close partnership with our administrative assistants. You will work with the Head Teacher on the strategic direction of the school.

The admin officer's duties include preparing and monitoring the school budget, dealing with personnel and payroll, processing orders and invoices, dealing with Health and safety and premises issues and being the Data Protection Officer for the school. You will line manage admin and caretaking staff.

Knowledge of SAP software, experience of SIMS and HCC Personnel procedures and practice is desirable, although appropriate training will be given. A certificate of School Business Management would be desirable but is not essential
