ROLE

We are seeking a GPhC-registered Accuracy Checking Technician (ACT) to join our small team in East London.

The ideal candidate will have exceptional accuracy skills, a commitment to patient safety, and the ability to deliver NHS services, including flu vaccinations, PFs, & other NHS services.

Key Responsibilities

Perform final accuracy checks on dispensed medications in compliance with GPhC standards.

Administer flu vaccinations and other NHS services (e.g., blood pressure checks, travel health advice).

  • Collaborate with pharmacists and healthcare teams to ensure efficient service delivery.

  • Maintain accurate patient records and uphold confidentiality.

  • Support pharmacy operations, including stock management and customer service.

Essential Requirements

  1. Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).

  2. ACT Qualification (Accredited Accuracy Checking Technician).

  3. Vaccination Certification (e.g., accredited training in flu/COVID-19 immunisations) desirable

  4. Proven experience in accuracy checking and dispensing.

  5. Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.

  6. Excellent communication skills and a patient-focused approach.

Desirable Skills - Experience in community pharmacy or NHS service delivery.- Familiarity with Sonar/PharmOutcomes or other NHS reporting systems.
